Founded in 2023, Intravartolo is more than just a wine brand. We are about bringing together friends and family to enjoy great wine and food and celebrate the Italian American experience. It’s a way to connect with others, to celebrate life’s moments, and to honor our Italian heritage and traditions.
We are proud to produce Italian-style wines using U.S. grown grapes. Expertly crafted to transport your tastebuds to the heart of Italy, our wines are a reflection of the Italian American spirit – bold, flavorful, and full of life.
And everyone is welcome. Whether you’re Italian American or not, and whether you’re a wine novice or a seasoned connoisseur, we invite you to join us on our journey of enjoying and learning about Wine, Food, Italy, and Italian American Culture. Salute!
Our Founder
Dave (Intravartolo) Moser, a proud Italian American with family roots in Polizzi Generosa, Sicilia, and Villetta Barrea, Abruzzo, has always been passionate about Wine and Italian American culture.
Dave’s passion for Wine began in 2005, inspired by the cult-classic wine movie “Sideways” and a subsequent trip to Santa Ynez Valley wine country. Dave began educating himself on Wine, collecting fine wines, and visiting more than 300 wineries across the world.
That passion for Wine turned into a career in Wine in 2016 when Dave moved from Pittsburgh to California to run direct-to-consumer marketing for a winery producing a million cases per year. Dave then went on to run the most visited winery in Santa Barbara County for 4+ years.
Seeking to combine his love for Italian style wines and pride in his Italian American heritage, Dave founded Intravartolo in 2023.
